We haven't been posting lately given that both Mari and I have been really busy with exams and projects wahhh :-/ But we're almost done, one more week :) and we'll be back to posting regularly!!
For now I want to share something that happened last week that made me smile.
I was walking back home from school after a long day finishing a project with a friend, it must have been around 10-11ish, so as Im walking with my headphones on and I see these two guys walking in the other direction (towards me) when one of the guys looks at me and I thought ughh hes gonna say something like "Hola linda...blah blah" (I guess I'm just used to Puerto Rico where it is like that all the time) But to my surprise the guy tells me (I pretended not to hear with my headphones but I could...)
"Sonríe mujer que estas viva!" ... it means Smile woman you're alive!
It took me completly by surprise! and I thought wow he's right...
I must have had a face like I was sufferening or something, I guess it must have been that I had barely slept that week, but it made me smile nonetheless. Made me think that no matter how stressed, occupied, or busy with work we might be its always good to remember to smile, to keep a good attitude and spirits up no matter how hard it is at times (and it is hard) there is always a reason to smile, and I guess that day this guys gave me one...and one that I wont forget!
